What To Eat To Lose Weight And Why Diets Don’t Work
Have you ever tried any of the new trendy fitness and weight loss fad diets, only to be disappointed?
You tried hard to stick to it, to no avail.
Worse. You did the diet, lost 20 lbs or more and a month or two later you’re back to square one!
The diet didn’t work…
Or maybe it would have worked if you would have stuck to it. Or maybe you did and you lost the weight…and then you “relapsed”.
But the diet did not work…Was it because it did not show you what to eat to lose weight AND keep it off by avoiding boredom and dealing with plateaus? Did it lack guidelines and explanations or structure, so that when you were done with the program you knew what to do going forward?
Truth is, no one really knows why it’s so darn hard to lose weight and so easy to gain it!
Why is that?
With so much information available about obesity and its horrible consequences, why do people continue to gain weight? Obviously, America is losing the battle against obesity.
According to studies by The Center For Disease Control and Prevention, more than 35% of the adult population in the USA is obese and over 66% is overweight!. Not only are there plenty of plans and programs online, at the local gyms, the libraries, the bookstores…some are good, some are great and some are downright confusing; nevertheless, there is information galore, and if there are two things these programs agree on they are:
1) All the junk, greasy and sugary food is making America fat
2) Americans need to exercise more.
But you knew that, right?
Yet, there you are, still struggling with the frustration, guilt or anger about your inability to make that diet work for you. One moment you are ready to start fresh, next thing you know you’re giving up again.
Who needs MORE dieting information?
In fact, we ALL know that junk food is bad for us, don’t we? We hear the scary “news” about the obesity epidemic and its horrible consequences.
What we need is a simple, plain, structured plan to lose fat without all the jargon and complicated -sounding concepts.
That’s what this site is about.
It’s about solutions. Solutions that apply to you as an individual, because who knows about what makes you tick better than you? You know your weaknesses, your culture, your habits. More importantly, you know your attitude about food, right?…I mean, sure we all indulge. Who eats only for nourishment? Yet, we often lose control of how much and what we eat on a day to day basis, ignoring – or denying – what we see in the mirror. At some point you wake up thinking oh shoot, it’s that me? When did that happen?
So, you start dieting.
You follow a specific, step by step diet that fails you because it was not designed by you. It was done for you, but without knowing anything about your likes, dislikes, food sensitivities, and even less about your lifestyle, habits, work schedule…and nothing about your approach to food…I mean, ultimately I think that our personalities make us prone to eat or avoid certain foods, don’t you agree?
I often forget to eat and I have to stop and remind myself that I better eat something less I faint. Some people eat non stop while watching tv without thinking about it.
Point is, only you know what plan is best for you.
A plan that you build yourself with all the basic tools and guidelines about what to eat to lose weight with enough information to fit your needs.
A plan that you will follow and implement because you created it.
